Influencing elections and winning the meme war.

For this month’s Tampa Bay Young Republican meeting we will be welcoming Instagram star, “@dc_draino”(Rogan O’Handley), who will be discussing his journey as well as the current state of social media influence on elections and politics. His Instagram account has just reached over half a million followers for his conservative meme comedy. He is responsible for many of the great political memes you see online. After graduating from the University of Chicago School of Law, he worked in Hollywood as a film and entertainment lawyer before returning to Tampa and starting his social media channels to support Donald Trump’s election and ultimate goal of draining the swamp in Washington D.C. Rogan regularly works with Turning Point USA and has been touring the country with fellow conservative media figures speaking on college campuses. Self-described as a pro-trump, civil rights activist, and citizen journalist he will discuss what it’s like to have the attention of 500,000 people on a daily basis.
