About TBYR
Mission Statement
To attract young people into the Republican Party, providing for them an opportunity to achieve political expression and recognition, more effectively participate in the election process and better develop and uphold the principles of the Republican Party as a service to the United States of America, the State of Florida, Hillsborough County and its political subdivisions.
Member Requirements
The Young Republicans require all members be aged between 18-40, but all ages are welcome to attend meetings and become associate members. Our membership dues are only $60 per year and $30 per year for current students. Associate member dues are a minimum of $30 per year to support the club with no donation limits. Active members must also be registered to the Republican Party in the State of Florida.
Objectives
Our goals include developing and maintaining an active countywide Young Republican organization; and supporting the principles and objectives of the Republican Party. Additionally, we work to help secure the election of qualified candidates who are representative of our ideals. Finally, we provide a networking platform for young professionals to become engaged with social issues around the Tampa Bay community. secure the election of all qualified candidates.
Meeting Times
Typically the TBYR meets every 4th Tuesday of the month primarily at American Social on Harbour Island, but also at other central locations of Tampa. The schedule and location may change monthly based on speaker schedules, holidays, or other events. Please follow us on Facebook and Subscribe to our email list to get the latest updates. FL Legislative Session Initiatives
TBYR Calls on the FL Legislature to Ban Weather Modification.
Key Points:
1. Ban weather modification projects in the State of Florida.
2. Hold private companies and government bodies legally liable for adverse health effects of weather modification projects.
3. Create a regulatory framework allowing for public transparency of any federal or military weather modification projects taking place within the State of Florida or our shores before they occur.
